WebAccess Thin Client Interface
Access real-time data and control automation equipment with an iPhone, iPAD, Android Phone, Pocket PC or PDA.

The Thin Client interface is intended for use with iPhone, iPAD, Android Phone or Windows CE  Pocket PCs and Handheld computers. Most any web browser can view the thin client graphics. The thin client usually uses only Port 80.

Using the standard Web browser supplied with Windows CE, iPhone, iPAD, or Android devices,  users and operators can view and control automation equipment used in industrial, manufacturing, process and building automation systems.

Snapshots of Dynamic Graphics
The Thin Client interface supplies static snapshots of dynamic graphics as GIFs and JPEGs.  No plug-in or ActiveX control is required. Each time the refresh button is pressed, a new snapshot is delivered to the PDA showing the latest color, position and values.

The GIFs and JPEGs are generated automatically by the WebAccess software without any action required by engineers or users.

Change  Values and Setpoints in Real-Time
Real-time Data, Alarms and changes to data are through a text type interface.  With appropriate passwords, users can View displays assigned to them, change setpoints, start or stop equipment, enter data, acknowledge alarms and perform any control action as if through a PC based HMI.

A "true" Thin Client
An ordinary Web Browser is all that is need to view and control.  Unlike the competition, no software needs to be installed on the client to view the WebAccess Thin Client interface.

Others claim to have a 'thin client" but require special Terminal Emulation or other software to be installed on the client.

Although intended for use by PDAs, Pocket PCs, Tablet Computers and other handhelds, the thin client interface can be viewed by any computer using a Web browser.  This makes the Thin Client Interface ideal for infrequent users unlikely to take the time to install the Plug-in or highly secure clients that restrict software installation on their clients.

The Thin Client interface supports wireless Ethernet, TCP/IP, firewalls, proxy servers, routers and Windows Integrated Security.
