Overview:
This course is for technical support personnel for WebAccess users. The course is designed to for OEMs, re-sellers, overseas distributors and other users to provide diagnosis and solutions for en users. The course covers a series of application related problems that have been introduced into a previously working configuration. The course focuses on the current version of WebAccess. 

This course also covers licensing, simulation mode, Web browser issues, Microsoft Web servers (IIS) and common Internet / intranet security issues. 

The course includes extensive lab time where students will use many parts of the WebAccess system.  It emphasizes the advanced features in WebAccess HMI and SCADA software including: Software Installation, Licensing, Simulation Mode, Moving Databases, Importing and Exporting Databases, Importing DXF files, using bitmaps in graphic displays, customizing system displays, Web browser issue diagnosis, Web Server issues, network security issues, debugging Tcl scripts, Database download issues, Data logging to ODBC databases, DDE Client and Server interface, Internet Security, Internet Information Server (IIS), Routers, Proxy Servers, Port Mapping, Web Access User Security and Web Browser view options. 

Prerequisites:
WebAccess 101 is required. WebAccess 202 is recommended. User level knowledge of Microsoft Windows NT, 2000 or XP Professional is required. Familiarity with Internet Information Server (IIS),  programming experience in Tcl and familiarity with PLCs, controls and automation systems is required.
