Broadwin WebAccess software at Intel

Project automates HVAC and Lighting systems at 5 facilities with web browser access for facilities engineers and ordinary users.

January 14, 2005 - San Ramon, California

Broadwin Technology Inc. provides its WebAccess  HMI and SCADA software for the HVAC control system upgrades at five Intel facilities in California. The project is part of the building automation system and allows ordinary users to extend lighting and HVAC after hours using an ordinary web browser.  The system also allows complete access and control by facilities engineers.

Using a standard Web-Browser, users can view and control automation equipment used in manufacturing facilities, industrial process plants and building automation systems. Unique to WebAccess, all configuration and deployment can be performed remotely through a standard web browser including IO configuration, graphics building and remote software administration.

WebAccess is available for desktop computers and laptops running Microsoft Windows 98, 2000, 2003, CE and XP. Internet Explorer 6.0 supports all features of WebAccess.
