The
waste gas supervisory system uses 6 WebAccess SCADA nodes
communicating with 504 Koyo PLCs. Each SCADA node
monitors 84 Koyo PLCs. Managers, engineers and operators can
monitor the system using an ordinary web browser (IE 6.0) from
anywhere in the FAB. The system was implemented to increase
the safety of the toxic gas system.
Using a standard web-browser, users can view and control automation equipment used in manufacturing facilities, industrial process plants and building automation systems. Unique to
WebAccess, all configuration and deployment can be performed
remotely through a standard web browser including IO configuration, graphics building and remote software administration.
WebAccess is available for desktop computers and laptops running Windows
CE, 98, 2000, Server 2003, and Windows XP. Internet Explorer 6.0 supports all features of
WebAccess.
